Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. –Galatians 6:9
Sometimes I grow weary in doing good. When I do, I love to play this song by Sara Groves, one of my favorite singer/songwriters. It reminds me of the great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, spurring us on in this race of life.
If you are weary and overwhelmed today, watch this. Be encouraged. Think of all who have gone before. Let their courage compel you. Keep doing good. Keep running the race. There is an incredible cloud of saints surrounding you, cheering you on.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. — Hebrews 12:1
